Network Engineer starts his work of installation and maintenance when no one else is in the organization. This profile can be found in any industry as long as there is a continuous requirement of installation
and servicing of computers and networks. It can be any business establishment in the industry or even banks. They may either be a contract consultant or a complete in-house employee. Usually after the entire set up of the network the network engineer looks after the administration of the network.

Systems Administrator is a specialist job in organizing, documenting, maintaining and support of the infrastructure. In some cases it includes even planning and design. The work will be usually when all employees are around and may go some days to when no one else is working.

Network Analyst involves in reviewing, planning and evaluation of the network infrastructure. Many analysts troubleshoot the network to ensure proper architecture and recommend any change in the layout to suit the companies need. These provide input on overall network plans, and reports on project tracking and management reporting.

Computer Operator on Network Infrastructure performs the routine tasks of maintenance of computers and peripherals. Work under supervision of Network engineer or manager. The work is related to installation, maintenance of network software and hardware and troubleshooting in case of network or equipment failure

Hardware Installation Coordinator of a network infrastructure implements connectivity and troubleshooting. Their basic work load is that if designing LAN’s, expanding its facilities, Optimizing its software and hardware and network troubleshooting.

Network Support Technician identifies and implements solutions to company’s network. The work undertaken includes network maintenance, performing backups and measuring the performance of the network.

Service Center Technician is for repair and maintenance of computer and network hardware and other equipment. Their work profile includes software upgrades and security as well. These are more customer oriented service and support centers like those of ISP’s.

Field Support Technician is for the optimization of performance of network devices. They provide customer support and manage, administer and secure Local Area Networks.

Customer Service Technician is for on-site or in-house assistance in repair, installation and administration of LAN and network devices

Personal Computer technician jobs/ Help Desk technician job is to maintain a safe and working environment. LAN, networks and other stand alone devices are maintained and managed by them. Career requirements for a computer technician are entry level certification or any bachelor’s degree in the associated field.
